Code Anchor was born and bred in Commack, New York. Originally founded by the core songwriting duo of Dan Keller and Ryan Schiff, the line-up has since evolved into the current 4-piece roster, including bassist Bill Burns and drummer Scotty Zwang.
Their goal from the start was to write and perform songs that are melodic, catchy, explosive, intelligent, dance-able and most of all... original. Code Anchor has an innumerable amount of influences, which encompass such genres as rock, jazz, punk, hip-hop, reggae, metal, funk, bossa nova, bluegrass, and, of course, video game music.
Gigging since 2003, Code Anchor has performed all over the east coast and are currently booking a cross-country Spring 2009 tour. They have released two EPs and, just recently, their first full-length album, "Rosada."
