Even before India.Arie released her debut album in 2001, she had toured on the Lilith Fair 1998. She generated buzz in Atlanta and released her debut in 2001 which earned Arie a double-Platinum plaque. She quickly returned in 2002 with Voyage to India which debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 and earned her two Grammy Awards at the 2003 ceremony. She released her third album, Testimony: Vol. 1, Life & Relationship, in 2006 and it debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
In 2009, India.Arie released her latest album, Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics, which earned her another Grammy Award.
