Pop singer/songwriter Kristina Lachaga just finished this summer's 2012 Camplified Tour and is ready to rock Madison Square Garden as Z100's Hometown Hero at Jingleball...she just needs your vote!
Kristina Lachaga, The Girl With The Big Pink Heart, has had a love for music and performing since the age of nine. This triple threat landed her first musical theater audition in 2004 for the mainstage production of “Annie” at the famed Bucks County Playhouse. More roles followed in the productions of “State Fair,” “Seussical,” and “Gypsy,” in which Kristina played Baby Louise, working with Joyce DeWitt, star of “Three’s Company”.
After placing in the 2004 Philadelphia IMTA Competition, Kristina’s vocal talent took her to NYC to compete at the summer IMTA Convention. She has placed in other vocal competitions including the 2006 National American Miss NJ State Pageant, and most recently in 2009 in SHREK’s “Not Your Ordinary Princess Contest”, sponsored by Dreamworks and Nickelodeon. Kristina is most proud of performing as Baby Louise in the 2007-2008 National Tour of “Gypsy,” traveling to 47 states and Canada. Her television appearances include: ABC’s “One Life to Live” and Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush Music Video for “Famous.”
From these experiences, Kristina has transitioned into writing and recording her own Pop music. She has recently performed at The Bitter End in NYC and participated in a Battle of the Bands for an opportunity to open for The Cab. Kristina performs at charity events, such as benefit concerts for Relief for Japan, Invisible Children, and Anti-Bullying concerts, using her talent to help and inspire others. She has also performed at the Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament Fan Fest and has sung the National Anthem for the Somerset Patriots. She looks forward to the excitement of future opportunities. Watch for Kristina’s exciting new music!
