      Bio

He needs no introduction. His name alone means Texas rap royalty! Lil'O A.K.A "Da Fat Rat Wit Da Cheeze" has been making groundbreaking music since 1996. Notorious for his flows on the legendary D.J. Screw mixtapes that made him a underground favorite, he got his first nationwide deal in 1997 and released the single "Can't Stop" featuring multiplatinum group Destiny's Child on now defunct, MCA records. The song became an instant H-Town classic and solidified him as a legend in the streets. Because of creative differences he parted ways with MCA in 1998 and hit the underground scene with a vengence. Wtih the streets anticipating the return of Lil'O he dropped his classic debut album in 2000 "Blood Money" that garnered him major down south hits like the classic "Playa's Get Chose" and "Rags to Riches". Not only did the album go on to sell over 30,000 copies independentlly, it also established O as a premier songwriter capturing the heart of the streets with songs like "Try" and "The Truth". With his song writing skills being the talk of the streets O was asked to write songs for other local celebrities such as Big Moe, Big Pokey, and the late great Hawk. O is responsible for some of the the biggest records in Texas rap history penning songs like "Get Back" and "I'll Do It" on Big Moe's "City of Syrup" album and countless songs for Big Pokey like "That's All We Had" on his "Dope Game 2000" album. His ability to make hit after hit garnered him the nickname "The Hook Man Of The Screwed UP Click". He followed up his classic "BloodMoney" album with his monster selling album "Da Fat Rat With The Cheeze" in 2002 which garnered the huge down south hit "Back Back". The song led O to his second nationwide deal with Atlantic Records and went on to sell over 150,000 copies and counting. He left Atlantic records in 2003 and followed up in 2004 with his most critically acclaimed album "Food On The Table". With this album he proved why he must be considered one of the best to ever do it out the south. With a string of new mixtapes burning up the hood and his new singles "I DO" ft. Hawk, "I DON'T TRICK" & "It's Hard Not 2 Think About U" feat. Chamillionaire tearin' up the streets Lil'O is no doubt about to make history again with his new "GREATEST HITS" album which includes all the classics and these new certified bangers....
