      Bio

With the ability to spit lightning fast, witty lyrics and produce head bumping beats that have become popular with audiences around the world, Ludacris has earned a spot amongst rap royalty. After first breaking on to the scene with tracks like "Southern Hospitality" and "Move Bitch", Ludacris is now playing tour dates to a huge crowd of screaming fans, as well as continuing a popular acting career. While he doesn't have any tour dates in 2011, Ludacris is hard at work on his next album, Ludaversal, which is due out in early 2012.

When Christopher Brian Bridges was nine years old, he moved to Atlanta and began writing raps, eventually becoming a DJ on Hot 97.5. He released his debut album, Inconegro, in 1998, with many of the tracks appearing on his major label debut, Back for the First Time, in 2000. The album has gone triple platinum, and led to the first tour dates of Ludacris' career. The next year, Ludaris released Word of Mouf, which received great reviews and featured the singles "Area Codes" and "Move Bitch", which have become two of his most popular hits. The rapper received his first Grammy for the Usher song "Yeah!", which also become a breakout hit for Lil Jon. Ludacris' 2004 album, Red Light District, quickly went double platinum and rose to the top of the Billboard 200, supported by the ironic single, "Number One Spot."

While the artist's 2010 album, Battle of the Sexes, was supposed to be a collaboration with Shawnna, she soon dropped out after recording began and was fortuitously replaced by female artists like Nicki Minaj, Lil' Kim, and Monica. The album has only built for Ludacris' next traditional studio album, Ludaversal, which, while the cause for no tour dates in 2011, is bound to please his loyal friends.
