MASQUE burst onto the Hollywood music scene and quickly became one of LA's most popular local bands selling out venues including The Whisky and The Roxy. The band continued to play the LA circuit and record songs for nearly 5 years but eventually stepped aside to make way for the Seattle grunge movement as the era of the infamous Sunset Strip music scene came to an end.
MASQUE experienced major resurgence in popularity with music fans around the world due to exposure on internet social sites including MySpace. The renewed popularity led to the release of the CD titled "Face First" featuring songs previously recorded during the height of their Sunset Strip popularity.
MASQUE recently entered the studio to record a new EP with legendary producer Keith Olsen, best known for producing major rock artists including Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Scorpions and many more. The video of the first song titled “Body Mind & Soul” from the upcoming EP was recently filmed by Emmy award winning TV & film director Mark Jacobs. The new MASQUE EP is scheduled for release in early 2011.
