Twelve Gauge Apocalypse came to be from a strong desire Gary Dacus (ex drummer of Doxology & a 15 yr veteran of the Watertown Metal scene) had to put together something that rocked hard & still had groove. A 'trainwreck' of sound -- with a little Metal, a little Southern Rock and a WHOLE lot of hard hitting drumlines.
Gary got ahold of a few other musicians and jumped in feet first as they started practising to see what they could come up with. Two guitarists, a bassist and a vocalist later; Twelve Gauge finally found it's sound.
Gary was joined by Kirt Bell (ex lead singer of Doxology) on Vocals and Phil Popiwny (a 20 yr. veteran of the Watertown Metal scene) on Lead/Rhythm guitar and Ben Watson, a relatively unknown bassist that kicked ass and definately made a name for himself.
After spending nearly 9 months with Twelve Gauge, original lead/rhythm guitarist Phil Popiwny chose to move on...
replaced by Tristen Tremaine; a 11 year old Guitar Virtuoso; that has done an amazing job filling in the Lead Guitar position and is quite capable of ripping an inventive sole when needed.
Gary Dacus (founder of Twelve Gauge) and Tristen Tremaine have relocated the band to Memphis, TN area.
After the addition of Vocalist Jonny Death, and very accomplished singer - with Clean vocal stylings; and Bassist Nolan Smith, an 18 year old that could hang with the best of them; There is NO DOUBT!!...
...! Twelve Gauge Apocalypse is BACK!
