      Bio

Originally named Topanga (after the Boy Meets World character), PUP is made up of elementary school friends Zack Mykula, Stefan Babcock, Steve Sladkowski, and Nestor Chumak. The group self-released their debut, self-titled EP in 2013, to the acclaim of numerous Canadian music critics, including the Calgary Herald and CBC Radio 3. PUP also caught the attention of punk rock band Hollerado, who took them on their first national tour.

In 2014, PUP headed to the UK to tour as openers for Slaves, followed by a performance at SXSW in Austin. In 2015, they played select dates on the Vans Warped Tour, including a performance in their hometown of Toronto. In 2016, PUP released their sophomore album, The Dream Is Over, titled after a direct quote from Babcock's doctor following vocal chord damage.
