That year he began performing in shows, and clubs all over the Charlotte North Carolina area. During this time he established himself in the smooth jazz and R&B scene. Now only in his early twenties, Adrian has become a strong force in the music world. After a few years of performing. Adrian began achieving larger goals. Eventually he was known as one of the most popular musicians in the Charlotte area. In the summer of 2001, at the age of 16, Adrian opened for national recording artist Regina Belle and was also given two awards by the cultural calendar magazine- one of these being "Artist of the Year".
