Their self-titled debut was released in 2002 and yielded no commercial singles, but made an impact in the underground circuit.
The guys hit critical acclaim with their third album, "Writer's Block," which reached the top of the Billboard Heatseekers survey in 2006. The track even garnered the attention of Kanye West who sampled the song for his "Can't Tell Me Nothing," single. Rolling Stone rated the album #44 on their list of the Top 50 Albums of 2007. Peter, Paul, and John tour dates were scheduled internationally on the heels of the album's success.
The trio followed up with 2009's "Living Thing," album which hit the top 100 of the Billboard 200 albums chart. The leading single, "Nothing to Worry About," was featured on the MTV series "The HIlls," as well as the sitcom, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," with the accompanying music video blending Japanese Rockabilly culture with Swedish indie rock.
