      Bio

As the child of amateur musicians, Tasjan had a knack for music at a young age. At just 11 years old, Tasjan taught himself how to play guitar by listening to Oasis. Tasjan's proficiency in the guitar grew rapidly, and at 16 he won the Outstanding Guitarist Award in the Essentially Ellington Competition. Despite being offered a full scholarship to the Berklee College of Music, Tasjan declined and decided to move to Brooklyn to dive headlong into his musical career.

While performing with the band Semi Precious Weapons, Tasjan met Kevn Kinney, lead singer of Drivin N Cryin. Kinney not only invited Tasjan to tour with him, but also became a mentor to the young musician. Soon, Tasjan left Semi Precious Weapons and became the lead touring guitarist for the New York Dolls throughout 2009. He also formed his own band, The Madison Square Gardeners, with whom he played for three years.

In 2013, Tasjan moved to Nashville to began a solo career, which has brought him his most significant recognition to date. His debut studio album, In the Blazes, was released in 2015, along with the EP Telling Stories to the Wall. In 2016, Tasjan's sophomore album, Silver Tears, was released to significant critical acclaim.
